VW MK4 ALH EGR Delete Kit
Complete your install with...
Volkswagen TDI EGR Delete kit (engine code ALH). EGR systems cause soot to build up inside the motor at a much higher rate. Our race pipe is made from high grade aluminum that is welded not glued. The flange of this pipe uses an o ring seal whereas some use a flat gasket. The o ring flange is the same design as the factory egr valve. Flat gaskets tend to leak under boost loads. You have the option to use the port for the purpose of a boost gauge or for water-methanol injection.
- Welded race pipe that fits on intake manifold x1
- O-Ring for race pipe x1
- Boost Gauge Barb x1
- Threaded plug x1 (if not using the port)
- Block Off Plate and gasket for exhaust manifold
- Hose clamp
- Mounting Hardware
Customers can purchase a coolant line or a hose coupling on our website to remove the egr cooler. The coolant line offers a cleaner install by having one hose. In other words, the hose coupling connects the two coolant lines together that went to the EGR cooler.
Cleaning your intake manifold is important when removing the EGR valve. Keep in mind that you will need an intake manifold gasket upon doing so. Also available are intake manifold bolts if yours are corroded.
This kit is compatible with:
- Jetta TDI 1999-2004
- Golf TDI 1999-2004
- Beetle TDI 1998-2004
In the event that you have a 1999 or 2004 make sure you have a ALH and not a BEW or AHU
We also offer Tuning for added power, MPG, and/or EGR removal. EGR removal without tuning will trigger the check engine light.
**Off road use only** For the reason that deleting your EGR system makes your vehicle non-emissions compliant.
