KIT 1100It is recommended to replace the Transmission Filter during regular fluid changes. Failure to do so can result in damage to the valve body bores or solenoids. The filter should also be changed after major components have been replaced such as the valve body or transmission pump.
It is recommended to replace the harness when replacing the filter as they are fragile and are damaged easily. Having a replacement on hand means that if the harness breaks while you’re working, you can swap it right away rather than having your car disassembled and waiting for the part to arrive.
