Experiencing Hard Shifting, No Shifting, or Inconsistent Transmission Performance?
Erratic shifting (hard, soft, or different shifting conditions when hot or cold) often signals failing transmission solenoids. These fluid-control components typically need replacement around 100,000 miles. Transmission Solenoids control the valves in the valve body. Therefore, if you have a bad valve, new solenoids will not fix the issue.
To restore smooth and reliable shifting, we strongly recommend replacing all transmission solenoids, along with the transmission filter, gasket, and fresh transmission fluid. Doing the job completely the first time can help ensure another 100,000 miles of dependable driving.
